- Time: 6:00 pm
- Tape: Wave 1 - Discovery (2. Intro to Focus 10)
- Duration: 37 minutes
Before
I took a break from the tapes and journaling about them because I wasn’t seeing any changes or results, and instead was getting frustrated. I did try Intro to Focus 10 a couple of times during the previous week, but I would just end up dozing off halfway through the tape. So today I decided to do it in the evening and took some coffee beforehand. I also didn’t lie completely flat but kept my knees up, like in a sit-up position. That somewhat helped me to retain my focus, and not sleep or daydream, although I had to actively force myself all the time.
During
Didn’t feel anything peculiar while listening to the tape, but as I mentioned above, I had to focus very hard to keep my focus on the tape. Maybe that is what Focus 10 means?
After
My body as usual, felt very stiff after the tape ended. That is probably because of staying in the same position for half an hour without any movement. Didn’t feel particularly move calm or relaxed than I started, but I guess being able to keep my focus and attention 80% on the tape is an achievement.
I have come to the conclusion that so far, the tapes have very good results if I use them as a sleeping aid. That is definitely something they could be useful for. Given that I have a hard time sleeping on time, and even if I shut down everything and lie down, my overthinking keeps me from sleeping, the tapes can be very useful for improving my sleep. I will now listen to these tapes every night, and I will continue on with all the tapes even if I don’t unlock all the required skills. I am hopeful that by the end of that my sleep would be vastly improved.
